The artist, painter and writer GEO, who comes from Cambrai in northern France, is supported by the Fondation Aline in the field of culture.
The aim is to accompany the artist in his difficult phase of life so that he can develop his artistic work even during his imprisonment. The support of Fondation Aline focuses primarily on donations in the administrative field, such as computers, printers and the like. In this way it is possible for GEO to send its pictures to art enthusiasts and to continue to promote its writings by publishing them in magazines. To some extent, the GEO project also promotes cultural and organisational change in the French judicial system.
In 2021, GEO was named a Goodwill Ambassador for Arts and Ethics by the Fondation Aline. As an ambassador, he puts his artistic and writing skills at the service of the foundation. He is an important representative and advocate of the goals and values of Fondation Aline and works closely with the Foundation to support its activities and projects. In his role as Goodwill Ambassador, he is responsible for creating publications, copy and stories for various channels including the website, social media, official documents and annual reports. It also helps to raise awareness of the importance of art and culture in society and to make the work of the Fondation Aline accessible to a wider audience.
