Foundation Alpenruhe

The Alpine Tranquillity experience.
For young and old.

Within the framework of the "Erlebniswelt Alpenruhe" project, which is assigned to the Social Sector, people with a physical, mental or psychological impairment are looked after, cared for and supported in the Bernese Saanenland. The Alpenruhe Foundation ensures that people with handicaps - regardless of their deficits - are provided with an appropriate daily and residential structure. The services, which include care, certification, work, employment and housing opportunities, are aimed at people who generally receive disability insurance benefits. In addition, training for professional integration as well as various transitional solutions are offered.

The goal is to promote a society that, on the one hand, perceives the weakness of the individual as his or her potential strength and, on the other hand - following the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities - jointly strengthens the social participation of all people. The adventure world with a large playground, petting zoo, children's railway and adventure garden offers numerous opportunities for the cognitive, motor, sensory-motor and social development of children. This educational benefit promotes social interaction and supports a long-term, inclusive society.

We supported the project "Erlebniswelt Alpenruhe" in November 2022 with an amount of CHF 2'000.00. With our donation, we focus on the values that every person is accepted with his or her qualities and can develop his or her talents for the benefit of the community.
